About the instructor

Sheikh Mustafa Razzak brings over a decade of deep devotion and rigorous study in the Islamic sciences to the Roots Academy community.

His academic journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Shariah from the European Institute of Human Sciences and a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies from the Markfield Institute of Higher Education.

Alongside his university achievements, Sheikh Mustafa has memorised the entire Quran, earning an Ijaazah that connects his students with a long lineage of teachers and scholars.

Deeply engaged in mentorship, he serves as a Chaplain at the University of Birmingham and a Lecturer at the Birmingham College of Humanities.

Also a qualified pharmacist, Sheikh Mustafa uniquely blends traditional Islamic knowledge with contemporary professional insight, inspiring students from all walks of life.
